Portraits & Paws Studio Launches New Website: Natural Photography in the Scottish Highlands

I am pleased to announce the launch of the new website for Portraits & Paws Studio, a heartfelt photography brand based in Nairn and serving Inverness and the wider Scottish Highlands. This project began with a complete branding design that captured Ruth’s vision, followed by the creation of a warm, SEO‑friendly website that brings her story online.

A Logo Rooted in Nairn

The branding came first. Ruth wanted her logo to tell a local story, and together we created a design that features her capturing portraits with pets beside the iconic Nairn bandstand. As Ruth explains:

“The logo was inspired by my love for Nairn and the Highlands. The bandstand is iconic to the town, and including it in the brand represents the place that has shaped me as a photographer.”

She adds:

“It reflects my style - warm, simple, and true to the landscape I love. It represents my relationship with the Highlands and the natural, relaxed way I approach photography.”

  Designed for couples celebrating love, from engagements to anniversaries. Think windswept kisses near Inverness or quiet strolls along the Moray Coast. Ruth shares why these sessions matter most to her:
